Pura Vida! Even though the literal translation is “pure life,” in Costa Rica, this is the mantra. It’s everywhere from the way people live to the way I was treated. From the mountain volcanoes to the surrounding waters of the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, the outdoor lifestyle is intoxicating. With each passing day, the urge to live here full time grew stronger, and the tales of my friends who set up a life in this country resonated like never before. Pura Vida!
